What is your WHY?
My WHY for being in the field of Social Work is my drive to being a positive asset to all those we serve in the community. My WHY is being a constant reminder to our clients and myself, that we all fall short at times and need someone to lift us up through our journey of life. I enjoy being an ongoing support to those we serve , while embracing not being ashamed of our life’s shortcomings. I thrive on advocating for my clients that our diagnosis is not a label to identify us individually, yet to be in control of our diagnosis and to not allow our diagnosis to control us.
What do you enjoy about working at RDBHS?
I enjoy being able to have the opportunity to give back to our community. I enjoy being an example that we can go after our dreams and make them a reality, regardless of any of life’s setbacks. I enjoy that RDBHS is a judgement free zone. I enjoy that RDBHS provides it’s staff and myself the opportunity for professional growth within the agency.
