1.- PURPOSE

Right Direction Behavioral Health Services (RDBHS) maintains this Agency Service Plan to define:

• The scope of services provided
• The population served
• Service delivery methods
• Responsibilities of staff and affiliated providers
• Access to services and public availability

2.- MISSION STATEMENT

Right Direction Behavioral Health Services is committed to leading individuals, families, and the community in the right direction by providing comprehensive, client-centered mental and behavioral health services that promote stability, growth, and overall wellness.

3.- POPULATION SERVED

RDBHS serves:

• Individuals ages 5 through adulthood
• Clients with mental health, emotional, and behavioral needs o Youth and families requiring structured and community-based interventions
• Individuals needing recovery-oriented and support services

Service areas include Cuyahoga, Summit, and Lake Counties.

4.- SCOPE OF SERVICES

RDBHS provides the following services:

• Diagnostic Assessment
• Individual Therapy Family Therapy
• Group Therapy
• Psychiatric Medication Management Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)
• Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
• Day Treatment Programming

Recovery & Support Services

• Peer Support Services

5.- DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Diagnostic Assessment

Comprehensive evaluations are used to determine diagnosis, treatment needs, and level of care.

Therapy Services (Individual, Family, Group)

Evidence-based interventions focused on emotional regulation, trauma processing, behavioral improvement, and coping skill development.

Medication Management

Psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring provided by qualified prescribers.

CPST (Case Management)

Services to improve functioning through:

• Skill-building , Resource linkage Care coordination
• Crisis intervention

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

Intensive, individualized behavioral interventions designed to:

• Reduce maladaptive behaviors
• Increase pro-social and adaptive skills
• Support functioning in home, school, and community settings

Day Treatment

Structured, intensive services including:

• Psychoeducation
• Social and emotional skill-building
• Behavioral interventions
• Therapeutic group activities

Peer Support Services

Peer Support Services are recovery-oriented services provided by certified peer supporters who have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery.

Peer Support focuses on:

• Promoting hope and recovery
• Enhancing engagement in services
• Supporting self-advocacy and empowerment
• Assisting with community integration
• Providing mentorship and shared lived experience

Peer Support Services are non-clinical and complement clinical treatment by fostering connection, motivation, and long-term recovery.

6.- SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH REFERRAL OR AFFILIATION

RDBHS collaborates with external providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Referral/Partner Services May Include:

• Primary Care Providers (PCPs)
• Hospitals and Crisis Stabilization Units Substance Use Treatment Providers Schools and Educational Systems
• Community-Based Organizations
• Additional recovery support providers

7.- RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROVIDERS

RDBHS Clinical Staff

• Deliver services within licensure scope
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation Participate in treatment planning and coordination
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and ethical care

Peer Support Providers

• Provide services consistent with certification and lived experience role
• Promote recovery-oriented, person-centered support
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
• Collaborate with clinical staff while maintaining non-clinical role integrity
• Document services in accordance with agency and regulatory standards

Affiliated/Referral Providers

• Deliver services within their professional scope
• Communicate with RDBHS (with consent)
• Support continuity of care
