Deandra Evans is a native of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, and the Founder, CEO, and Chief Clinical Officer of Right Direction Behavioral Health Services. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Slippery Rock University and her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University.
With more than 15 years of experience in the social services and behavioral health field, Deandra is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio and also holds licensure in Pennsylvania. She is deeply committed to helping others, giving back to the community, and serving as a positive role model for young women and emerging professionals.
Deandra attributes much of her resilience, drive, and unwavering determination to the influence of her late mother, Ms. Deidra Evans. The powerful bond they shared profoundly shaped Deandra’s personal and professional journey. After her mother lost her battle with stage IV colon cancer in 2015, Deandra experienced a period of deep grief marked by depression, anger, and overwhelming sadness. During that difficult time, she temporarily lost her passion for helping others, questioned her faith, and struggled to find meaning.
